You must enter full and correct details in all fields in ENGLISH characters only or your application may be delayed or not processed. If you enter an incorrect e-mail address, your account - and any further requests – may be delayed or rejected.

BY SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP TO VATSIM, YOU HEREBY STATE THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST THIRTEEN (13) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND THAT YOU AUTHORIZE VATSIM TO USE ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED AS PART OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS FOR INTERNAL PURPOSES WHICH ARE PURSUANT TO THE TERMS OF THE VATSIM CODE OF REGULATIONS, CODE OF CONDUCT, USER AGREEMENT AND PRIVACY POLICY.

Your password will be sent to the e-mail address you provide. If your e-mail address is incorrect or is returned to VATSIM as undelivered (e.g. with 'User Unknown' or 'Mailbox Full' errors), you will not receive your password and you will not be able to sign-up again. Please make sure that your e-mail address is correct before clicking Submit. If you don't receive your password within twelve hours, please re-request it by going to the VATSIM.net homepage and clicking on ID Changes under User Services in the left frame. On the ID Changes page, select Forgot Your Password and follow the instructions. Please note that your e-mail address will be used strictly in accordance with VATSIM's Privacy Policy and will not be given to other companies, organizations or mailing lists. You will only receive official VATSIM notices (called ‘NOTAMs’) at this address, unless you subscribe to other mailing lists provided by VATSIM and its regions/divisions.

Your password is sent to you by an automated system. It cannot respond to SPAM processing software installed on your PC as well as ANTISPAM features present on many e-mail servers. If you are using such software or/and your e-mail server performs ANTISPAM actions, you MUST disable it or otherwise open it to emails from @vatsim.net addresses. PLEASE CHECK THESE SETTINGS BEFORE YOU PROCEED WITH REGISTRATION. If you do not, you will be unable to join VATSIM. If your registration seems to be unfinished and you have not received your password within an hour check your e-mail directly on the server (not via e-mail clients like for example OE or Mozilla). You will probably find it in SPAM folder.

You must provide full and correct responses including your full legal name. Initials, nicknames, company names, titles (e.g. ‘Jr.’) or anything other than your full legal name are not acceptable and will either delay your application or result in your account being cancelled at a later date.

After registration, your application will be checked against the database to ensure you do not have an existing ID. If no existing ID is found, an ID will be issued to you immediately and your password will be sent via e-mail. Please write down the ID displayed on your web browser after submitting this form, as you will need this unique ID for identification if you do not receive your password via email.

All new registrations are issued at the Pilot/Observer rating. With this rating, you will be able to fly online and observe ATC. If you want to provide ATC services, you must contact the region to which you have chosen to be assigned, and complete their pre-ATC training program. Your region is your first contact for administrative, training and examination purposes.
